Mount Dora sits on a plateau 184 feet above sea level.
It overlooks Lake Dora, Lake Gertrude and Lake Beauclair.
The Mount Dora Historic District was listed on the National Register in 2009.
It sits around 3rd Avenue, 11th Avenue, Clayton Street and Helen Street.
The Mount Dora Light at Grantham Point Park is a 35-foot lighthouse on Lake Dora.

Can gutters handle a storm like October 2025?
No gutter system could take 17 inches in one day.
A clear, well-pitched run with enough downspouts still sends far more water away from your walls.
