Downtown Winter Garden centers on brick-paved Plant Street and its weekend farmers market.
The West Orange Trail runs down the middle of Plant Street.
The Garden Theatre opened there in 1935 and is a performing arts venue today.
Lake Apopka, about 30,800 acres, borders the city on the north.
The Historic Residential District has bungalow, Prairie School and Colonial Revival homes.
It is bordered by Plant, Boyd, Tilden and Central Streets.
Large communities include Stoneybrook West, south of SR 50.
Johns Lake Pointe, Wintermere Pointe and Westfield are also in the city.
